Easter and Spring holidays in Sicily with the whole family

Traveling with children is not always easy but Greek Sicily is a suitable destination for adults and children. The tour starts from Trapani, well connected to all Italian airports and continues to Segesta and Selinunte for the visit of the vast archaeological areas. Moreover Trapani has a very interesting baroque historical center, to be seen absolutely and many restaurants to taste the specialties of Sicilian cuisine. The second night you can sleep in Marinella di Selinunte, a beautiful seaside resort located within a reserve. The third day we arrive in Agrigento and the itinerary continues with the discovery of the Valley of the Temples, of which the Concordia is truly impressive. The Pirandello house and the archaeological museum are also worth a visit. The next day before arriving in Syracuse, a stop in Modica, famous for its chocolate and for its palaces and baroque churches, is a must. In the afternoon the visit of Syracuse starts from the new city where the famous amphitheater is located. On the other hand, the children can go with a guide dedicated to them at the Aquarium of Ortigia or at the Archimedes’ Tecnoparco. In the evening, the center’s restaurants offer a variety of Sicilian cuisine, from the first courses like pasta alla Norma, to world-famous desserts such as cannoli, cassata and granita. The tour continues the next day in Ortigia, the real historical center of Syracuse for a truly unforgettable walk through temples and churches up to the Lungomare and the Fonte Aretusa. In the afternoon we reach Taormina, one of the most famous places in Sicily. The following day after the visit to the amphitheater we leave for the last holiday destination, Catania, full of churches and monuments to see. Sea, food and art, Sicily enchants adults and children and is the ideal destination for Easter holidays and spring holidays.
